The Art Gallery
As the second component of the Museum, the Art Gallery presents an original experience in the history of Moroccan pictorial art. With more than 800 works of art, the collection keeps the mark of several great Moroccan and foreign painters who opted for Morocco as a theme.
The different perspectives and viewpoints of artists from various backgrounds reveal the magic, the wealth and the diversity of a country where sources of influence abound.
The collection comprises, at the same time, the first representations of Morocco by Orientalist artists starting from the 19th Century, as well as Moroccan painting with its different components.
