WHAT IS THE BANK ACCOUNT CENTRAL REGISTER (BACR) ? |

The Bank Central Account Register (BACR) compiles, on the basis of the declarations of the reporting institutions, all the openings, modifications and closures of bank accounts. However, it neither tracks nor records any information relating to the operations carried out on the said accounts or on their balances.

FOR HOW LONG ARE DATA STORED IN THE BACR ? |
Bank account information declared by credit institutions and similar bodies are stored for a period of ten (10) years beginning from the account closure date.

WHICH DATA ARE STORED IN THE BACR ? |
The Bank Account Central Register records:
Credit institutions are required to notify to the Bank Account Central Register any correction concerning the information previously submitted.

HOW TO ACCESS INFORMATION REGISTERED IN THE BACR ? |
In accordance with the provisions of law 09-08 relating to the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, you can have access to information relating to you which is registered in this file.
