The objective of Bank Al-Maghrib’s procurement policy is to determine the principles and general guidelines for purchasing goods and services. It aims to enable the acquisition of quality goods and services at the best cost given the market requirements and conditions on the one hand and regulatory, ethical and compliance obligations, on the other.

The procurement policy aims to promote the following objectives:

  • Free access to the order
  • Transparent procurement procedures
  • Fair treatment of competitors, and guarantee of their rights
  • Effective and efficient procedures, especially through prior assessment of needs, good use of public funds and the choice of the most economically advantageous offer
  • Incorporation of specific criteria such as sustainable development and respect for the environment
