Upper side: Horizontal band with a traditional ornament, traditional door-knocker.
Right side: Transformation of a five-pointed star into an open book.

2			Watermark It reveals the portrait of His Majesty King Mohammed VI as well as the value numeral of the banknote « 20 », visible when the banknote is examined against the light.
3			Security thread When held up to the light, a continuous thread becomes visible and shows the text « 20 بنك المغرب » repeated on all the vertical axis of the banknote.
4			Detection motif (Obverse/Reverse) When the banknote is held against the light, incomplete elements of the marquee, printed on both sides, combine to perfectly form the integrity of the marquee
5			Micro-printing Microprinted texts used at different places on the banknote. A magnifying glass is necessary
