It reveals the portrait of His Majesty the King Mohammed VI as well as the value numeral of the banknote « 20 », visible when the banknote is examined against the light.
The Royal Crown is printed with colour-shifting ink depending on the viewing angle.
Motif for visually impaired persons
Raised printed intaglio motif with tactile marks allowing the visually impaired to recognize the banknote
Embeded double-colour changing thread bearing the words « Bank Al-Maghrib » in arabic « بنك المغرب » and the value numeral of the banknote « 20 » repeated on all the vertical axis of the banknote
Microprinted texts used at different places on the banknote. A magnifying glass is necessary to see them.

Detection motif (Obverse/Reverse)
When the banknote is held against the light, incomplete elements on both sides combine to perfectly form the value numeral of the banknote.
